Art's Party

Yesterday was Art's big birthday bash and Krista was invited to set up an installation for it. She called it 'Ode to Art'.
I set up my own work out on the back deck--my 'mystical art show' playing on Art's big TV. We put a couches and some comfy chairs out there with blankets to snuggle in. I think it went over well, though one little girl said 'can we put something else on? this is boring'.
There was a wonderful fire pit and tables loaded with fancy breads and soup and gumbo and beans and about 15 cakes and pies. Art's land-mate Star had her groovy school bus and art studio open too. And the folks next door had another bonfire going and there was some back and forth traffic. It was damn cold but we all had a good time.
