Chicken Heaven

This hen was getting pecked, so she flew the coop and had a lovely time of it with us human party goers. Much nicer out on the grass and some of the kids were even feeding her corn, I think. Happy bird.
On the other hand, India didn't want her cake after a few bites (she's been laying off the sweets since camp). So I discreetly tossed it into the chicken pen for the other birds to feast on.
Right before we left I caught her (to her surprise and my own) and India threw her back in, as it was getting toward dusk.
