For god knows what reason, all of the posts I made in Thailand (except the photos) just up and disappeared. After getting a few requests, I've decided to repost them as a single entry--very long, so beware! It seems timely, given that I've been posting Thai photos just recently. As this was the very start of our trip, and the most exotic place we visited, this is probably my favorite writing. Hope you enjoy it.
